Unsplash photos

Search free photos from Unsplash and add one to your chat. The AI uses that exact photo and credits the photographer.

Unsplash is a library of free photos. You do not sign in. You search, pick a photo, and Site Haus puts it in your message so the AI uses the real picture.

Find a photo#

Open Integrations → Unsplash → Search photos, or open a web app and add the Unsplash tab from the + tab. Type what you want, like bakery or mountain, and choose a shape (wide, tall or square). Press Next to see more.

Add it to your chat#

Click a photo. Its link and a credit line (Photo by the photographer on Unsplash) are added to your message box. Write where it should go, for example use this as the hero picture, and send. The AI uses that photo and shows the credit with links back to the photographer and Unsplash, as Unsplash asks.

Picking a photo is counted as a download on Unsplash, which is how photographers are credited for their work.

In Design Studio#

Select an image layer and press Search Unsplash in the Image section of Properties, right-click an image and choose Search Unsplash…, or open the image tools and pick Search Unsplash… to add a new image. Click a photo and Site Haus keeps its own copy in your studio (up to 2000 pixels wide) and puts it in the layer, so exports always include it. Remember to credit the photographer when you publish the design (Photo by name on Unsplash).

Why not let the AI choose?#

An AI cannot look photos up, so a photo address it makes up often shows a broken picture. A photo you pick always works.
