Framer
Paste the published address of a Framer site and the AI rebuilds it as an editable website you own.
If your website was made with Framer, you can bring it into Site Haus as real code you can edit, host and keep. Framer is not changed or connected: Site Haus only reads the public site.
Import a site#
- On the home screen press + and choose Framer site, or open Integrations → Framer.
- Paste the published address, like
https://your-site.framer.websiteor your own domain. - Press Import and build. Site Haus reads the site and the AI starts rebuilding it as a new web app project.
What it reads#
- The home page and the pages in its menu on the same site (up to 5 pages).
- The text in reading order: sections, headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, buttons and links.
- The menu, the page titles and descriptions.
- The colours and fonts the site uses.
- Up to 24 of the site's pictures. They are saved in your project under
assets/framer/, so your site never links to Framer's servers.
It is all written to design/framer-spec.md and design/framer-tokens.json in the project, where you can read exactly what the AI was given.
What to expect#
Site Haus sees the content, not Framer's exact layout, animations or interactions. The rebuild follows the content: the same text, sections, order, colours and pictures, laid out cleanly and responsively. Expect to ask for adjustments, such as "make the hero bigger" or "add the animation back". Framer's CMS content, forms and custom code components are not copied.
Good to know#
- Only import sites you own or have permission to copy.
- The site must be published and public, and must use https. Password-protected pages are not read.
- If the address does not look like a Framer site, you are told, and no project is created.
- Pictures that are too large, are not real pictures, or are SVG files with scripts in them are left out.
