Start from Templates
Browse templates, finished websites and proposal templates, and start a new project from one in a click.
Templates (in the sidebar) is a gallery of things to start from.
What is in it#
The chips at the top filter by type:
- Templates: a website or theme you can start your own project from.
- Websites: finished sites to look at for ideas.
- Proposals: proposal templates for agencies.
- Skills: written know-how you can add to your own skills. See Find and share skills in Templates.
Use the search box, the sort menu (Featured first, Newest, Most used) and the category chips to narrow things down.
Use a template#
- Open a card to see the preview, who made it and what is in it.
- Press Use this template. Site Haus creates a new project with a copy of its files and opens it, ready for you to change by chatting with the AI.
- For a finished website, press the link to open its live site.
The template stays unchanged: your project is your own copy.
For a proposal template, press Use this proposal template. It lands in your own proposal templates in Proposals, ready to use. See Write a proposal.
Share your own#
- Proposal templates: agencies can share one from Proposals, so other agencies can start from it. It appears under the Proposals chip, and you can edit or remove it later.
- Templates and websites are posted by approved authors. If you are one, you will see + Share a template at the top of Templates: choose a project, add a title, summary, category and cover picture, and publish.
- Skills: anyone on Pro or Power can share a skill. See Find and share skills in Templates.
The address of a listing#
Every listing has its own web address made from its title, for example sitehaus.agency/explore/house-decor-storefront. Use Copy link to share it. If you post a listing, you can change the Web address in the form (letters, numbers and dashes). Older links that use the listing's number keep working.
Designs#
Templates also lists designs shared from Design Studio. Choose Designs, open one and press Use this design to add an editable copy to your own Design Studio. See Export and share for how to share your own.
