GitHub
Put a project on GitHub, push every version as a commit, pull changes back, or import a repository.
Connect#
Choose Connect with GitHub and pick which repositories Site Haus may use, or paste a personal access token. Public repositories need no connection to import.
Put a project on GitHub#
In a project choose + → GitHub → Put this project on GitHub. The first push uploads the files. After that every version becomes its own commit, and only changed files are uploaded. A file you delete in the project is deleted in the repository.
Pull#
Pull from GitHub merges file by file. If the same file changed on both sides, Site Haus stops, names the files and asks you to choose GitHub's version or keep mine. Your version stays in the history either way.
If GitHub has newer changes, a push is refused with "pull first".
Import#
Press GitHub on the home screen, pick a repository or paste owner/name or a github.com address. Websites, Node and Python apps, and WordPress themes are recognised. See Import a project.
